NanoDays

NanoDays is a nationwide festival of educational programs about nanoscale science and engineering. NanoDays events are organized by participants in the Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network (NISE Net), and took place this Spring at over 200 science museums, research centers, and universities across the county.

May 15, 2010

This year, NanoDays Utah was hosted by the Nano Institute of Utah at the University of Utah, in partnership with The Leonardo, Utah Science Center, and the Utah Museum of Natural History.

Ben, Helin, and Miao presented "the Magic of Color" and demonstrated hands-on experiments of color change with various regents and materials to the local Utah school aged children.

This is cool! --- a kid scientist is making color change with Helin and Miao, while Ben is showing magic colors of mineral crystals.

mixing colors into White --- as demonstrated by Helin and Miao

Hey, let me try it!

Yeah, different colors!

Sharing moment --- the magic of colors, the power of nanotech!
