was based at Grand Canyon University, just outside of
Glendale, AZ. PAFEX-II (July 1-Aug 15, 1998) was based at Falcon Field
Airport in Mesa, AZ.
PAFEX-I was a winter study focused on turbulent transport and dispersion
of particulate matter and carbon monoxide.
PAFEX-II was a summer ozone study focused on turbulent transport and dispersion
of ozone and particulate matter.
