The Robotics Seminar is intended for all robotics students, as well as
for students wishing to learn more about robotics and robotics
research at Utah. It is a chance for the Utah robotics community to
get together on a weekly basis. The course will feature tutorials on
background materials such as Matlab, C/C++, and statistics; technical
presentations by robotics graduate students; and discussions of recent
trends and important results elsewhere.
- Weeks 2-4: Review/crash courses in C/C++, Matlab, statistics, etc.
- Week 5: How to conduct a literature review and critique technical\
papers.
- Weeks 6-9: Senior robotics students (>2 years) present research
and discuss related journal articles.
- Weeks 10-13: 2nd-year robotics students present.
- Weeks 14-15: 1st-year robotics students present.
