of the paper and then answer the questionnaire briefly. This is mainly testing
your ability to think critically about the problem at hand. A response of

The paper describes a methodology to compute an optimal NUCA cache
organization that is laid out in a contiguous rectangular region (with
no computational cores within that region). How would you compute an
optimal cache/network organization for the following processor model:
a tiled processor, where each tile contains a core, its L1 caches, and
a slice of L2 cache (assume that the chip has a large shared L2 cache
that is physically distributed among the cores, similar to slide 3 of
lecture 2)?
