Grades

In order to view your grades you need to know your CADE lab login, your eight digit student ID number, and your grades password.  If you do not have a grades password, log in to a CADE lab machine, and type the following into the console (shell) window: 

java -classpath /home/cs3810 GetPassword
This will prompt you for your university ID number, and then it will display all three required fields. Usernames are all lowercase letters.

Note: You do not have to physically go to the lab to get your grade password.  You can use a program like 'putty' to remotely log in to CADE lab computers (using SSH protocol).

Grades will be manually updated every few weeks.  (I copy the spreadsheet data to the website every few weeks.)  Recent updates may not appear for a while, please be patient.  Grades will not be available until after the first assignment grading is completed and recorded.

Regrade Requests

If you feel that a grade is incorrect, you may request a regrade.  Fill out a regrade form, staple it to the front of your written scoresheet or homework, and give it to me (Peter Jensen) personally.  (To help me manage regrades, please only submit written regrade requests using the form below.  Please do not submit email regrade requests.)  Your assignment will be re-evaluated or re-recorded as appropriate.
