Getting help in the CADE lab:

The TAs will hold office hours in the CADE lab (WEB L 226 or WEB L 124) to help students.  They do not look for you - you must request or find them.  Please use the pictures above to help.  To request a TA, add yourself to the TA queue applet below.  (You must be in the lab.)  The queue may be inactive if the TA is not busy.  In this case, please look around to find the TA (using the pictures above).  If you cannot find the TA, email the TA at teach-cs1410@list.eng.utah.edu .

Getting help during Friday labs:

The Friday labs are designed to provide an opportunity for students to learn under the supervision of a teaching assistant.  You should try to attend your lab section if at all possible, space is not guaranteed in other lab sections.  Here is the lab schedule:

Section #TimeLeaderAssistant
Section 032 9:40 AM - 10:30 AM Peter Chad
Section 034 11:50 AM - 12:40 PM Chad Tyler
Section 033 12:55 PM - 1:45 PM Tyler Chad

Getting help at my office hours:

My office hours are 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Catmull Gallery in WEB.  (I may move down to the lab if a student needs help down here.)  I am also available on Wednesday mornings when my door is open (MEB 3148).  (If my door is closed I'm busy with class preparations, please come back later.)

As a general rule, you may ask questions of me (Peter Jensen) any time that my office door is open, or any time you see me in the lab.  (I will periodically walk through the lab during peak demand times to make sure everyone's questions are answered.)

In addition, I will be happy to set up appointments at other times.  Please email me to set up an appointment.  (Note: I often get very, very backlogged in email. Please feel free to talk to me after class if you need a quick response.)
