Extra Credit #1
Resubmit your assignment #9
Due Wednesday, December 16 at 5:00 PM
This is an extra credit opportunity. It is not an assignment.
Extra credit will be applied to your grade after all letter grades have
been determined.
This extra credit opportunity allows students to make up points on assignment
#7. If you got a bad grade on assignment #7, you may improve your score
by correcting and resubmitting the assignment.
Requirements
To earn this extra credit, do the following:
-
Revise your solution to assignment #7. It should pass all of the
official test cases. You may run our tester on your code. Download
the following test classes and run the tester to run our tests.
Test code for assignment #7
Note that the test code is not well commented - it was written by several
different TAs. Do not change the test code!
- Find your scoresheet for this assignment, write 'extra credit'
across the top, and hand it in to the homework drop box. (You
can also use a regrade request sheet if you cannot find your score
sheet for assignment #7.) This is how I will know to regrade
your assignment. You must place your assignment #7 scoresheet in
the assignment drop box before the due date. (It is in front of
3190 MEB.)
- Electronically hand in your
ArrayExercises.java file
to the directory "extracredit1". Use the web-based handin. Remember
to double-check your handin.
No late work will be accepted, not even with a good excuse. If you
want to make sure to get this extra credit, finish it early.
Scoring
This extra credit only affects your score for assignment #7.
- If your code passes all the test cases, you will have your score raised to 36
points.
- If your code passes most of the test cases, you will earn 36 points minus the
number of test cases that fail.
- If your code does not pass at least 25 test cases, you will not earn any extra credit. Your old score will not be changed.
Finally, you must do your own work. Any plagiarism on this
extra credit will earn an instant 'E' in the course. (Do not copy even a
single line of code.)
Good luck, and have a good winter break when you finish.
