Moki Mac River Expeditions, a small family-owned company in Salt Lake City, inspired the RivX project. The core system task is maintaining customer and scheduled trip information in a database. The system also provides functionality for billing invoices and printing out general business reports. The application is accessed from a web browser which displays the information generated from various servlets. All information is organized in tables in an SQL database.
